Woody Johnson is a sculptor and painter who is part of the bedrock of Oakland's artistic and activist community. His art has blessed every home that I have ever lived in, from my earliest years to the present day. His work is a manifestation of the continuity of history's currents because he often depicts the times we live in through the artistic styles of the ancients. For over thirty years, he has represented the arts community in various capacities: art teacher, university lecturer, mentor artist-in-residence, curator and gallery board member. His work has been featured in both solo and group exhibitions and has been commissioned to do city and school projects.

YOURS (Youth Organizing Urban Revitalization Systems) is a non-profit that is dedicated to creating a network of community-owned cooperative programs serving and benefiting the public of Baltimore. YOURS was founded in 2004 by a group of Baltimore City public schoolteachers and one future tea-slinger. It's activities focus on community gardening, after-school programs, and urban entrepreneurship development. The YOURS store, managed by a former YOURS student, features student-created products as well as Sip to Live™ teas.

DJ Scientific is a rocket scientist who knows how to ride the wheels of steel (turntables). He manages the integration and test facilities at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center by day, but his skills as a DJ have earned him high-profile gigs and several appearances in Big Tigga's Basement. Put one of his mixtapes in your cd drive and you won't need to hit fast forward- the thought of hitting "Stop" won't even cross your mind.
